I love my family, but that love would be different to the love I have for my wife (hypothetical). The base foundations are the same, but they are different beings altogether. And yes, a firm friendship that develops into something deeper is always a great recipe.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10619185462394012616noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992348121248477995.post-63007203940604030162017-04-16T06:28:57.294+05:302017-04-16T06:28:57.294+05:30Thanks! everyone for your awesome comments and rev...Thanks! everyone for your awesome comments and reviews. So glad to see you all stop by.

@ Duncan D. Horne, Indeed. :)

@ Natasha Duncan-Drake, So true! Sadly so many don't understand it... Yet if one finds the right person all the efforts are worth it. :)

@ Sayanti Deb, You are amongst a few lucky ones I would say. I am glad you think this way. Your point is valid, Yet, for some of us the next step to acceptance a requirement for a compromise ... for the benefit of the relationship. Nevertheless, in the end, it is worth it. :)

@ Mandy, I totally am with you on that. There is no perfect person one has to put in efforts to make it work. Marrying someone you get along with is a win-win. And in the end, it is a personal choice really. :)

Karnika Kapoorhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12597183599971956037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992348121248477995.post-18529399490682833262017-04-14T23:05:27.134+05:302017-04-14T23:05:27.134+05:30I tend to think more about the love of God/Jesus t...I tend to think more about the love of God/Jesus than the love of one particular person. As in I should love all, avoid judgment as much as possible, be kind to all I meet, etc… I'm kind of opposed to the idea that there is one perfect person for everyone. (Why then do some people remarry after their former spouse dies and find just as much love in that relationship?) I've also found, for me at least, it's best to marry someone you already get along with as a friend first and foremost and worry less about attraction because I think you can choose to be attracted. I guess I'm just not a willing believer or follower in the traditional ideas about love and marriage. I think everyone has to make up their mind and do what is right for themselves first and foremost with regards to love rather than relying on Shakespear or tv/movies to decide it for them.

With Love,
MandyMandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00415510811585368037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992348121248477995.post-28700146752500527462017-04-14T17:38:19.741+05:302017-04-14T17:38:19.741+05:30It's true that we often hear that the essence ...It's true that we often hear that the essence of love is trust and compromise. But, I don't think the compromise has any relation with love. Real life never needs compromise, tin flows like a river. I'd like to substitute the word " compromise" with "acceptance". this suits better with love. What do you think, Karnika?

-Sayanti and here is my LINKSayanti Debhttp://sayantideb.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-992348121248477995.post-64589372030897068772017-04-14T16:29:25.178+05:302017-04-14T16:29:25.178+05:30I think love is beautiful, but there are many many...I think love is beautiful, but there are many many people out there who do not understand it.
